Please join for this special conversation and community gathering. Our wonderful guests Dignicraft are here for a brief period before the head back to the West Coast will share a few video clips or their fantastic work and we will then all join local artisans, artists, Indigenous and immigrant activists, and academics (full information on participants included below). Lisa Hoffman from the McColl Center in Charlotte will also join us. Dignicraft's most recent film 'Brilliant Soil' creates awareness about the problems faced by artisans in Mexico using lead in their pottery, also promoting the richness of the Purepecha culture.
